We have an immediate opening for a Manager, Human Resources in our West Sacramento, CA office.

In this highly visible role, you will manage Human Resources activities and provide critical support and coaching to approximately 300 top-tier Information Technology employees both locally and remotely. In addition, you will lead one remote Human Resource professional.

This requires an experienced, strong, dynamic individual who possesses knowledge of federal and state regulations and a full range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, training, compensation and benefits. You will have the opportunity to assist with development and implementation of tactical HR plans as well as support and interact with all levels of employees with in our Information Technology group. Some overnight travel may be required.

Skills / Requirements
Requirements for this position include:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; master's degree preferred.
  • Previous (at least 5 years) progressively responsible experience as a professional HR generalist or related position.
  • Supervisory/management experience.
  • Proven strong technical ability with MS Office and HR information systems - preferably PeopleSoft HR.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Business-minded results orientation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, consulting and negotiation skills; innovative and flexible.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior HR experience servicing IT employees is a plus
  • PHR/SPHR Certification is a plus
